FAQ
-
What should I expect at my first appointment?
When you arrive, you’ll have a few minutes to discuss your needs, goals, and any areas you’d like to focus on. You’ll have privacy to get settled on the massage table, and your session will be tailored to support your comfort and well-being. Afterward, you’ll have time to relax, hydrate, and ask any questions.
-
Do I need to undress completely for my massage?
Undress to your comfort level. Massage is most effective when working directly on skin, and certain clothing can limit the experience. You’ll always be appropriately covered with a sheet or blanket, and your comfort and boundaries will be respected at all times. If you’re unsure, talk with your Massage Therapist at the beginning of the session.
-
What types of massage do you offer?
Each session is personalized, drawing from several therapeutic styles including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Cupping Therapy. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing stress, or just need time to relax, your session will be tailored to what feels best for your body.
-
Can I book a session for a child, teen, or a dependent with special needs?
Absolutely. Attune was created with caregivers in mind. Clients of all ages and abilities are welcome, and sessions are adapted to ensure a safe, respectful experience for your loved one.
-
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel online using the link in your confirmation email. Please try to provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible so the time can be offered to someone else in need.
-
Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA cards?
At this time, massage services at Attune are not billed through insurance. However, many clients do use HSA or FSA funds. Check with your provider to confirm coverage, and a detailed receipt can be provided if needed.
